A Perspective from the Vice-Rectorate – Transferencia al Aire Podcast

Podcast

16 October 2026

Transferencia al aire is a radio programme promoted by the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) Knowledge Transfer Service. Our goal remains the same: to bring university research closer to the social and business sectors, showing how knowledge can be transformed into value for society.

In this new episode, we explore the strategic vision of knowledge transfer from the very heart of the university: the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer.

To do so, we are joined by Ángel Carbonell, Vice-Rector for Research and Knowledge Transfer, and Paqui Hernández, Deputy Vice-Rector for Research and Knowledge Transfer Management. They share their experience and perspectives on how the UMH promotes science, fosters collaboration with companies and institutions, and works to extend the reach of university innovation.

Throughout the programme, we discuss the current challenges facing knowledge transfer, the opportunities offered by our research ecosystem, and the importance of people as drivers of scientific progress.

An essential episode for understanding how the strategy that enables UMH research to generate a real impact is developed from within.
