Training for the Innoagents Network at the UMH: Innovation, Creativity and Business Connections
On 25 and 26 September 2025, Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) hosted a new training event for the Innoagents Network, funded by Ivace+i Innovación.
The event began with an opening session featuring contributions from:
- Laura Martí Barranco, Deputy Director of Innovation Programmes at AVI (IVACE+i)
- Ángel A. Carbonell Barrachina, Vice-Rector for Innovation and Knowledge Transfer at the UMH
- Antonio Ferrer, Director of IDIBE-UMH
- Raúl Moral Herrero, Director of CIAGRO-UMH
- Nicolás García Aracil, Deputy Director of the UMH Institute of Bioengineering
They all highlighted the importance of collaboration between innovation agents, universities and the business community in continuing to drive transformative projects across the Valencian Community.
Applied Creativity and Connections with Businesses
The first day focused on the LEGO® Serious Play® workshop, facilitated by Pablo López and Tania Aira.
Through this co-creative methodology, the Innoagents explored new approaches to innovation, using activities that encouraged strategic reflection, visual thinking and the development of shared visions that they can apply within their organisations.
The second day took place at the Innova Building in the UMH Science Park, where participants visited the prototyping laboratory and took part in a Q&A session with innovative companies from the PCUMH ecosystem.
This format enabled the Innoagents to learn first-hand about real-world experiences in R&D&I funding, the protection of research results, collaboration with research centres and the challenges of innovative entrepreneurship.
A Growing Network
The event marked another step towards strengthening the Innoagents Network, which continues to establish itself as a key instrument for knowledge transfer and collaborative innovation in our region.
The Knowledge Transfer Service will continue to support the Innoagents throughout their journey, fostering opportunities for learning, networking and strategic development.
