Participation in the 2025–2027 AVI (IVACE+i Innovación) Funding Call: Strengthening Our Commitment to Knowledge Transfer

16 October 2026

Our Knowledge Transfer Service, together with the Research Management Service, has once again played an active role in the 2025–2027 call for funding from the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) (IVACE+i Innovación), aimed at strengthening and developing the Valencian Innovation System.

These grants, promoted by the Valencian Innovation Agency, support strategic initiatives focused on the valorisation of R&D results, collaboration between science and business, and the promotion of talent to transform the Valencian Community’s productive model.

Projects submitted under the 2025–2027 call

In this edition, we submitted a total of 26 projects, distributed as follows:

  • 12 projects under Line 1: Valorisation, Transfer and Exploitation of R&D Results, within the Programme for the Valorisation and Transfer of Results to Businesses.
  • 1 project under Line 2: Strengthening Scientific Units for Technology Development and Knowledge Dissemination to Businesses.
  • 1 project under Line 1: Innovation Agents, within the Talent Promotion Programme.
  • 12 projects under the Strategic Collaborative Projects scheme.

Total funding requested: €5,535,836.52

  • €3,234,021.74 for valorisation, transfer and talent schemes
  • €2,301,814.78 for strategic collaborative projects

Comparison with the previous call (2024–2026)

In the 2024–2026 call, a similar total number of projects was submitted under the valorisation and talent schemes, although Line 2 accounted for a larger share and the number of strategic projects was slightly higher:

  • 12 projects under Line 1: Valorisation
  • 4 projects under Line 2: Strengthening Scientific Units
  • 1 project under Innovation Agents
  • 13 projects under Strategic Collaborative Projects

Total funding requested in 2024–2026: €6,596,335.70

  • €4,462,380.84 for valorisation, transfer and talent schemes
  • €2,133,954.86 for strategic collaborative projects

Despite a slight decrease in the total number of applications and the overall amount requested compared with the previous call, a consistent strategic effort is being maintained in priority areas, particularly R&D valorisation and cooperation between stakeholders across the innovation system.
