Study, Analysis and Cataloguing of Works of Art
A comprehensive service for the analysis, expert assessment, valuation and research of works of art, with a particular focus on painting.
TECHNOLOGY DESCRIPTION
The knowledge we offer for transfer stems from our expertise and experience as researchers, practising artists and art lecturers, particularly in the field of painting. We apply this knowledge and experience to works of art submitted for analysis by companies, institutions and private individuals.
We compare works with those of artists from the same period, establish their historical context, analyse their elements and explain their meaning. We also examine their composition, the techniques and processes used in their creation, the materials employed and their state of conservation.
We also provide artistic valuations and recommend potential restoration interventions to address any deterioration identified.
TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS
- Study, analysis and cataloguing of works of art for a range of clients, including public bodies with art collections, private companies and individuals who own art collections.
- Our main focus is painting, but we also have expertise in other artistic media and can provide services in these areas.
ADVANTAGES AND INNOVATIVE ASPECTS
The benefits are twofold:
- Clients receive an artistic analysis and valuation of the works in their collections that they wish to catalogue or examine.
- They also benefit from the advice of art professionals who are not only involved in analysing works but also in creating art. This combination of expertise covers both fields and helps ensure a higher-quality report.
As practising contemporary artists, we focus primarily on recently created works rather than older historical works, covering a period extending from the present back approximately 100 years.
Our multidisciplinary research team brings together expertise in painting, sculpture, audiovisual media and digital media. We provide a comprehensive service covering the analysis of artistic techniques and materials, cataloguing, photography and subsequent digital editing. The entire process is documented in a detailed report.

In 2019, we restored murals commissioned by Calpe Town Council. We also catalogued the work of artist Schlotter in Altea, commissioned by Fundació Caixaltea, and prepared technical reports on the murals at Villa Adelaida for Santa Pola Town Council.
