TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS

We offer public institutions the capacity to study the Spanish food market. The studies offered may be useful for:

  • Designing effective public health policies on nutrition based on the characteristics of food products available on the Spanish market.

The studies offered are made possible by BADALI, a Food Database developed by our team at Miguel Hernández University. BADALI is the only food nutritional composition database currently available in Spain in which the majority of entries are processed foods.

The publications listed in this offer provide examples of the types of studies that can be carried out using the tool available to us.
