The Knowledge Transfer Service Takes Part in the IATecUV Challenges Event

The UMH Knowledge Transfer Service is taking part in an event aimed at connecting business challenges with solutions based on AI and enabling technologies.

On 14 October, IATecUV will hold the event *Retos IATecUV: «De un reto a una solución»* (*IATecUV Challenges: From Challenge to Solution*) at Las Naves, the Centre for Social and Urban Innovation in València. The event aims to connect talent, research, start-ups and the business community. It will take place from 10:00 to 13:00, with registration and attendee check-in starting at 9:30.

IATecUV is the High-Tech Incubator for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Enabling Technologies, promoted by the University of Valencia and the Fundació Parc Científic Universitat de València. Its aim is to foster knowledge transfer and the development of new technology-based business projects.

The event will be divided into three sessions: *University, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer*; *From Start-up Solutions to Business Challenges*; and *AI, Talent and Knowledge Transfer*. In the final session, our colleague David Úbeda will moderate a round-table discussion covering topics ranging from the major challenges posed by AI in industry and the role of educational institutions and universities to the connection between talent, training and business needs.

The round-table participants will be Manuel Juliá (President of AVALNET), Enrique Monzón (ODEC), representatives from IES Simarro and the Centre of Excellence in AI and Big Data, and Irene Recuenco and Mari Enguix (Vicky Foods).

The event will conclude with closing remarks from the organisers, followed by a networking and coffee session to foster new connections between start-ups, companies and institutions and build on the challenges and opportunities discussed.
