Silvia Botella Gallar, from the Knowledge Transfer Service, and Raquel Flores Montes, from the Research Management Service at Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche (UMH), undertook an exchange visit at the National University of Quilmes (UNQ, Argentina) from 18 to 22 May 2026.<\/p>\n
The mobility took place within the framework of the UMH Mobility Grants Programme for Internationalisation Activities \u2013 PTGAS Training Destination 2026 \u2013, with the aim of gaining first-hand insight into different institutional management models and processes related to research, innovation and technology transfer.<\/p>\n
During their stay, both professionals worked alongside teams from the UNQ Research Secretariat and the Secretariat for Innovation and Technology Transfer, participating in technical meetings and knowledge-exchange sessions focused on the management of R&D&I projects, fund administration, technology transfer, university-business relations and institutional management tools.<\/p>\n
They also had the opportunity to learn about the work carried out by the International Relations area of the Argentine university and gain a deeper understanding of the international cooperation initiatives promoted by the institution.<\/p>\n
The visit also included tours of various UNQ projects and facilities, including the Super Sopa Programme, an initiative focused on producing nutritious, low-cost food with a social impact; the UNQ TV studio, dedicated to producing academic and institutional audiovisual content; and the Biotechnology Services Platform (PSB), which specialises in technological and quality services for different productive sectors.<\/p>\n
The exchange visit provided an opportunity to share experiences and good practices in research management and technical support for research and knowledge transfer, while also helping to strengthen institutional ties between the two universities and foster new opportunities for international collaboration.<\/p>\n
