These contacts have made it possible to open an initial dialogue aimed at exploring opportunities for collaboration and technology transfer.<\/p>\n<p>Among the developments showcased were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Probiotic jellies, a functional food in jelly format, 100% plant-based, dairy-free and gluten-free, providing an innovative alternative to fermented dairy products and traditional probiotic capsules.<\/li>\n<li>Boards manufactured from plant-based waste, specifically palm tree waste. These are innovative materials with thermal and acoustic insulation properties that also do not use polluting adhesives, contributing to circular economy and sustainability models.<\/li>\n<li>Ilicitano date juice, a functional food with multiple properties, as it is a natural source of antioxidants and dietary fibre, developed from an emblematic product of the region.<\/li>\n<li>A technology based on the use of rice straw to manufacture footwear components, such as soles or insoles. This development stems from a collaborative project between UMH, INESCOP and La Uni\u00f3 Llauradora i Ramadera, and represents a sustainable alternative to conventional materials in the footwear sector. This technology also attracted the interest of the programme \u201cLa Ventana\u201d hosted by Carles Francino on Cadena SER, which was broadcast live from the trade fair, and both the researcher, Enrique Barraj\u00f3n, and members of the Knowledge Transfer Service had the opportunity to talk to him about this technology.
