How can the focus be placed on employees’ autonomous motivation? Drawing on evidence from Self-Determination Theory concerning leadership and organisational development, this training programme aims to work collaboratively towards more motivating corporate cultures, thereby generating the greatest possible positive impact on the organisation and on people.

Fortunately, in recent years, an increasing number of organisational managers have rightly become convinced of the benefits of focusing on a motivating corporate culture. After all, motivated employees support managers and help organisations grow.

Years of scientific research into motivation across various contexts have made it possible to present, through this training, an accessible pathway to guide managers and organisations towards adopting more positive motivational styles.

Motivation for Action is a training programme that can be adapted to individual needs, promoting strategies to mobilise participants. The proposal consists of training packages that use interactive, playful examples to address gender equality at different levels and promote effective equality. The training can also be delivered in a hybrid format or entirely online. In this respect, the programme combines synchronous and asynchronous sessions. All materials, including recorded videos and supporting PDF documents, will be available from the moment participants access the programme, using any computer, tablet or mobile phone connected to the internet.

Specifically, this scientifically supported training programme aims to engage participants actively through motivational strategies. This approach is expected to help participants in their professional roles by enabling them to move from their initial motivational styles towards a more adaptive style that fosters autonomy. Current scientific literature has shown that this has a positive impact on motivation and satisfaction, thereby promoting well-being across the group at situational, contextual and life-wide levels.

The training programme will follow these stages:

Phase 1: Understanding the role of motivation in human behaviour.

Phase 2: Identifying and explaining motivational scenarios.

Phase 3: Learning how to generate positive motivation.

Phase 4: Evaluating positive motivational strategies.

TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS

The methodology can be applied in any setting where human behaviour is key to success:

Business Sector: Optimising management teams, improving the working environment and increasing customer loyalty through motivated employees.

Education: Training teachers to improve knowledge transfer and student engagement at all levels.

Sports Management: Training coaches and managers to maximise athletes’ performance without compromising their psychological well-being.

ADVANTAGES AND INNOVATIVE ASPECTS

Results from previous studies have shown that people who took part in programmes of this kind became more interested in understanding the conceptual foundations of the style and integrated the procedures and strategies more effectively into their own settings, demonstrating greater persistence over time.

Ultimately, what distinguishes this motivational programme is its contribution to improving the quality of the process and addressing current needs, helping participants become autonomous, active, critical, curious, creative and innovative individuals. This can lead to improved performance. By using strategies that promote a positive motivational style, businesses, educational settings and other organisations can draw on these benefits to address their challenges, such as creating a better working environment for employees, engaging more effectively with customers, selling more products and improving teaching.

DEVELOPMENT STAGE

Fully implemented.
