We offer microbiome studies using clinical samples (stool, bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL), swabs, biopsies, etc.) to determine the microbial populations present in these samples through next-generation sequencing (NGS). Bacterial populations can be analysed by targeting the 16S ribosomal gene, while archaeal and/or fungal populations can also be studied by analysing ITS2 sequences.

This type of analysis is intended for clinical testing laboratories that lack the technological resources or personnel required to carry it out but would like to offer this service to their clients.

ADVANTAGES AND INNOVATIVE ASPECTS

Few companies currently have the capacity to offer this service because analysing microbial populations is a complex process.
